Home Minister reaches Mediciti Hospital to inquire about health of blast survivors

Kathmandu, Feb 11 Phagun : Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa today announced that the government would bear all treatment costs for those injured in a bomb explosion at an Ncell tower at Nakkhu in Lalitpur Friday. He made this announcement during his visit to Mediciti Hospital in Bhaisepati, Lalitpur to take stock of the injured undergoing treatment there.
Expressing his sorrow and extending his tribute to the person killed in the explosion, he also pledged decent compensations from the government to the bereaved family. He also promised to bring perpetrator(s) to book. “Explosions are taking place all over the country. The perpetrators will be brought to justice. The government will take stern initiatives to control criminal activities,” he said. Three persons were injured when an unidentified group detonated a bomb at the Ncell tower on Friday evening. Of the injured identified as Singh Prasad Gurung, Pratiksha Khadka and Aayusha Manandhar, Gurung died in course of treatment at the hospital last night.
Inspector General of Police Sarbendra Khanal also reached the hospital to inquire about health of the injured. On the occasion, the families of the injured demanded that the government arrests the perpetrators at the earliest.
